Us

We’re a London-based digital health start-up revolutionising access to evidence-based tinnitus therapy for the 1 in 8 people affected worldwide.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join a small team building a definitive tinnitus management solution – a single source of psychological and sound therapy for those suffering from tinnitus-related distress.

We are part of the Y Combinator W22 batch running Jan - March. You will be expected to participate in the programme along with the founders. This is an opportunity to take part in one of the most prestigious start-up accelerators in the world.

You

You’ll be tasked with supporting the founders transition the product from pre-market fit MVP to a scalable and robust healthcare tool.

The standard week will involve working closely with the co-founder/CTO/developer to establish not only a scalable product, but also the processes and workflows that will support a growing team as we approach Seed.

You’ll be presented with the opportunity to conceive, implement, and test major changes, defining our product along the way. We’re obsessed with data-based decision making and you should be too. The current Oto tech stack offers detailed analytics at virtually every stage of the user experience and our ability to A/B test at lightning speed is one of our proudest accomplishments. You will be expected to utilise this.

This is a role for someone looking to roll their sleeves up and get involved with some of the biggest decisions and the toughest tasks. You will need to be bold, enthusiastic and a fast learner. We are open to those with limited experience but exceptional ability.

Responsibilities

  • Defining product roadmap in alignment with business strategy
  • Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
  • Carry out qualitative research
  • Generate dashboards and data visualisations for actionable business intelligence
  • Manage freelance recruitment for small project-based tasks.
  • Establish and carry out quality-assurance testing for the mobile and web apps
  • Support compliance - technical writing, understanding regulation, exploring international requirements
  • Support the eventual formation of a product development/engineering team (post-Seed)

Requirements

  • Solid technical background with a good understanding and/or hands-on experience in app development.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentational skills.

Desirables

  • Proven work experience in product management or as an associate product manager
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
  • Proven ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Experience with technical writing
  • Experience in Digital Health / HealthTech
  • Experience with tinnitus and/or hearing loss

This role would well suit someone looking to transition from a clinical or tech background into a management role at a digital health start-up.

Pay/Benefits

  • £60 – 90k depending on experience.
  • Participation in our EMI options scheme
  • L&D budget and growth opportunities
  • 25 days annual leave (including your birthday)
  • Work in our Central London Office 3 days per week and 2 at home
  • Flexible working hours
  • MacBook and remote working budget
