We’re looking for an experienced web developer to join a us building a tool that provides psychological support for those suffering from tinnitus-related distress.
We’re a small team with backgrounds from all walks of life and are all passionate about solving some of the worlds most overlooked healthcare problems.
You
You’re an experienced web developer that can deliver professional code and are passionate about solving problems using technology.
You will be tasked with rebuilding our existing website and user acquisition funnel, integrating our existing backend technologies and maintaining meaningful and precise analytics and attribution tools.
Your focus will be providing our users with the best possible experience before they start using our app.
This will be a primarily on-site (3/5 days), team focused role in a typical startup environment - fast paced with multiple responsibilities and massive opportunity for professional growth.
Responsibilities
Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
- Work with the product/marketing teams to develop an engaging user acquisition funnel for our mobile application.
- Integrate data and authentication tools from our backend (Firebase) and our payments/subscription platform (Stripe & RevenueCat).
- Integrate analytics and attribution code compatible with Google Analytics and Google/Facebook Ads.
- Create and maintain software documentation.
- Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our site and the (eventual) team.
Requirements
- Proven working experience in web programming
- Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
- A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
- Adequate knowledge of noSQL database systems (Firebase Firestore), Object Oriented Programming and web application development
- Good knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.
Pay/Benefits
- £45 – 60k depending on experience.
